On our next installment of Grrrl Talk, we welcome Mikey Erg! Mikey has been a part of almost every band on the planet, but most notably, The Ergs!, who are considered a staple in punk history, and were formed among high school friends Mikey, Jeff and Joey.
Mikey released his self-titled solo full-length on Rad Girlfriend Records, in February 2021. The record caters to Mikey’s punk roots, especially with the catchy lead-off single, Rumblestrip. Mikey’s wholehearted passion for music, his eclectic assortment of tastes, and his dynamic talent make him one of the most sought-after people in the scene.
