Grrrls Like Us started in October 2020 amongst best friends from Southern California. Being involved in the punk scene for most of their lives and passionate on talking about societal issues, they wanted to create a place for people to turn to for support, resources, and music. We want to uplift those who may feel they don't have a voice or feel they're not currently being represented. We want to provide information on how to amplify, spark conversations, and be an ally to your fellow punk. We want to highlight bands and figures within the scene that carry the same values, and may not be getting the attention they deserve as well as those who have laid the foundation for those bands. But above all, we want Grrrls Like Us to be a place for intersectionality, inclusivity, and diversity. Everyone has a spot in punk.
